Finance & Commerce elects Kyle Chase, Logan McCarthy and Morgan Olsen to 2024 class of Rising Young Professionals

MINNEAPOLIS (Dec. 16, 2024) — Northmarq is excited to announce the recognition of three employees for Finance & Commerce’s 2024 Rising Young Professionals award: Kyle Chase, Logan McCarthy and Morgan Olsen.

In its fourth year, Rising Young Professionals honors Minnesota’s rising stars and business icons who inspire and leave a lasting impact in their industry. The 2024 class attended a celebration and networking event on Dec. 12 at Quincy Hall in Minneapolis.

Kyle Chase joined Northmarq in 2018 and serves as a lead investment analyst of Debt + Equity. In his role, Kyle enjoys working on development deals and creating comprehensive financial models that allow clients to strategically compare financing options. In addition to his technical expertise, he is also a mentor to many new analysts, offering tools and guidance to help them excel.

“Kyle’s ability to handle the complexity of debt and equity modeling has made him a true asset to our Minneapolis Debt + Equity team,” said Daniel Trebil, EVP and regional MD. “His talents have allowed us to elevate the service we can offer our clients. Additionally, he serves as a mentor and instructor for others across the Northmarq platform, and as a result, has emerged as a leader amongst his peers.”

Investment Analyst III Logan McCarthy has a unique role, splitting his time as an analyst for both Debt + Equity and Multifamily Investment Sales teams. Logan focuses on multifamily assets; however, his work spans all property types, including industrial, office and retail. One of his recent and most notable transactions is the $40 million refinancing of the Terra Residences in Maple Grove, Minnesota.

“Logan has been integral to the success of our team,” said Jeff Budish, managing director of Investment Sales. “Both our IS and Debt teams recognized his hard work and talent, and we asked him to essentially take on two full-time roles. He has consistently gone above and beyond to meet the demands of each.”

Morgan Olsen is manager of Northmarq’s Portfolio & Asset Management division where she leads five analysts. In her leadership role, Morgan represented her team through the firm’s rollout of a new Document Management System and ensured the priorities of the department were heard, tested functionalities, modified training materials, and ultimately eliminated hundreds of hours of manual work.

“Morgan has played a key role in leading and participating in numerous strategic initiatives within her department, consistently demonstrating an exceptional drive to deliver high-quality results on time,” said Jeff Davis, SVP and director of Portfolio & Asset Management. “Morgan consistently upholds the highest standards of professionalism and has built strong, lasting relationships with our lender clients.
