Northmarq names Shawn Power as Chief Financial Officer

MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA (January 30, 2023) – Northmarq, an industry-leading capital markets resource for commercial real estate investors, announced that Shawn Power has been named the company’s chief financial officer. In this expanded leadership role, Power will continue to lead the organization’s finance, accounting, treasury, insurance and licensing functions.

He previously served as senior vice president/managing director of Finance and Accounting (2019-23), and vice president of Treasury Management and Financial Reporting (2014-19). Prior to joining Northmarq, Shawn spent eight years in public accounting with RSM. He earned his Bachelor of Accountancy degree from North Dakota State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
