Jeff Cox

Jeff is executive managing director of Commercial Investment Sales based in Northmarq’s office in Austin, Texas. He leads Northmarq’s Commercial Investment Sales business, which launched in 2022 pursuant to Northmarq’s acquisition of Stan Johnson Company and offers investment sales services across the U.S. Jeff is responsible for growing the Commercial Investment Sales team to nearly $4.8B in transaction volume and over 100 brokers, collaborating with Debt + Equity producers to provide innovative capital solutions to clients. In addition to leading daily operations and the continued Commercial Investment Sales expansion, he serves on the company’s Executive Advisory Committee. 

Prior to joining Northmarq, Jeff served in multiple roles at Stan Johnson Company, an industry-leading firm focused on net lease investment sales. He served as the company’s first COO and subsequently as managing partner and sales leader of the company’s East region. Before Stan Johnson Company, Jeff was a senior managing director and alliance director for CBRE’s Global Corporate Services, where he led its largest health care account. Prior to CBRE, he was a partner at Trammell Crow Company in Dallas and development manager for Disney Development Company – the real estate development arm of The Walt Disney Company. 

Jeff earned his finance degree from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
