About Amy

As Senior Director of Operations for the Commercial division Amy Ward builds operational efficiency and champions change initiatives for the commercial brokerage and sales support teams. Through collaboration with service lines across the firm, Amy is responsible for ensuring people, technology, and processes align around impact and innovation in service of our clients. 

Before joining Northmarq, Amy served as the Director of Business Intelligence and Information Technology at Stan Johnson Company (SJC). With SJC since 2013, Amy has a passion for organizational health and performance achieved when the firm’s people, processes and systems are at their best. She is focused on fostering collaboration, innovation and insights across all offices, teams and individuals. Prior to SJC, Amy spent more than 25 years as a management consultant serving Fortune 500 clients in the high-tech manufacturing, business communications and healthcare vertical markets, where she led national strategic initiatives related to digital transformation, sales enablement and organizational change. 

Amy earned an M.Div with distinction from Iliff School of Theology. Additionally, she holds an M.A. in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of Colorado, Denver. Her undergraduate achievements include a B.A. in communication and psychology, where she graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
