About Brandon

Brandon Duff is Managing Director and Senior Vice President based in Northmarq’s Chicago office, where he currently leads a team of professionals specializing in the disposition, acquisition and capitalization of industrial, office, and retail properties nationwide, as well as multi-market portfolios, through direct sales and structured repositioning. Additionally, he is an expert within the industrial outdoor storage / industrial service facility product specialty, with a dedicated practice team focusing on such opportunities. Recognized as a top producer nationally, Brandon maintains relationships with many of the industry’s most prominent developers, private equity sponsors, REITs, institutions and private investors and has represented hundreds of different companies completing transactions in excess of $6.0 billion across 47 U.S. states and North America. 

Prior to Northmarq, Brandon served as managing director and partner at Stan Johnson Company (SJC), where he was also a shareholder of the operating company and founded the firm’s Chicago office in 2010. At SJC, Brandon had previously been the No. 1 individual producer, Regional Managing Director overseeing SJC's Midwest business operations. and was a founding member of the SJC President’s Council, where he played an active role in the strategic direction of the firm’s business nationwide. Before SJC, Brandon was with one of the largest, publicly traded, commercial real estate brokerage firms in the U.S., where he was one of their top producers.

Active in the commercial real estate industry and community, Brandon is a member of National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), co-founder of University of Michigan Real Estate Alliance and serves as an Executive Board Member of the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation. Brandon is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where is was also a four-time letter winner and captain of the Men's Golf Team.
