Brett Butler is a managing director in Northmarq’s Newport Beach office, where he focuses on strategic growth, talent development, and fostering a strong company culture. He plays a key role in enhancing leadership within high-growth regional offices.

Leading a team of seasoned professionals, Brett specializes in the acquisition and disposition of industrial, retail, office, and portfolio net lease properties. With a deep focus on industrial real estate, he has developed extensive expertise in complex transactions, market trends, and investment strategies. His client-centric approach has enabled him to build lasting relationships with top developers, REITs, and private investors nationwide.

Before joining Northmarq, Brett was a Senior Director at Stan Johnson Company. His meticulous attention to detail and commitment to client success have contributed to over $1.4 billion in total transaction volume since 2009. With 19+ years of commercial real estate experience, he is widely respected for his strategic insights and ability to navigate intricate transactions.

Brett is a member of ICSC and NAIOP and holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance from the University of Tulsa.
