Chris Conklin

Chris Conklin joined Northmarq in July 2020 to help the company continue its coast-to-coast growth of the Multifamily Investment Sales platform. He brings 20 years of commercial real estate experience representing owners in the sale of their multifamily communities in the Southeast, with sales volume exceeding $4 billion over the last 36 months.

Prior to Northmarq, Chris joined Walker & Dunlop's Investment Sales platform in 2015 when his employer, Engler Financial Group (EFG) was acquired. He and his team executed over 30% of the new construction sales volume in Dade and Broward counties over the last five years.

Chris also spent 15 years at CBRE as a director handling corporate real estate transactions for several of the company’s largest institutional clients. He was a senior leader on a corporate service team that closed more than 900 real estate transactions exceeding a volume of $500 million per year. Chris' career began with Lincoln Property Company where he held various positions including vice president of Leasing.

Chris is a graduate of the University of Texas where he earned a bachelor’s degree in management. In addition, he is a licensed real estate salesperson in Florida, New York and Connecticut.
