Chris Hall

Chris Hall, vice president, leads the Northmarq defeasance consulting team and the 1031 exchange team. Chris’s focus is on providing a high level of customer service and seamlessly guiding clients through the defeasance and/or 1031 exchange process.  

Chris started Northmarq’s Defeasance program in 2007 after working in both loan servicing and debt and equity. He has completed more than 700 defeasance transactions since then, valued at more than $7 billion.

Chris joined the Northmarq servicing team right after college in 1996. He has also worked in Northmarq’s Production department and on the Freddie Mac loan program. 

Chris hold’s a B.S. from the University of St. Thomas.
