About Heidi

Heidi Morrow, CFA is a senior vice president of Business Development for Northmarq Fund Management. Based on the East Coast, Heidi is responsible for outreach and forming new relationships with potential investors who would benefit from investment allocations to Northmarq funds. In addition, she supports the team on other various initiatives.

Since 2021, Heidi served as senior vice president of Business Development at Morrison Street Capital, which merged with Northmarq’s fund management entity in 2024. Prior to Morrison Street Capital, Heidi served as managing director at Silver Leaf Partners, where she marketed quality alternative investment opportunities across private markets, real assets, liquid alternatives and direct investment opportunities to institutions and qualified individuals. She also spent several years as CFO and director of Business Development for DiligenceVault, a fintech start-up firm whose Series A funding round was led by Goldman Sachs.

Heidi began her career in finance as a credit analyst and assistant portfolio manager at Offitbank. Her focus on emerging and international markets on both the buy and sell sides led to a position as portfolio manager, overseeing $2 billion in emerging markets equity funds at Daiwa Asset Management, where her responsibilities also included overseeing a fund-of-funds product and external manager relationships for the US. Heidi has 26 years of diverse financial services experience.

Heidi received her B.S. in German and Spanish from the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State and her MBA in finance from Columbia Business School. She is a CFA charterholder and currently serves on the board of directors of the CFA Society of Jacksonville. Heidi previously served as director-at-large and fiscal liaison for the CFA Society of New York (formerly NYSSA). Heidi also served as treasurer and chaired the Investment Committee for the New York Junior League (NYJL).
