Jim Ceresnak

Jim Ceresnak is a vice president based in Northmarq’s Charlotte office. Jim specializes in net lease car wash dispositions and acquisitions, as well as corporate sale leasebacks, retail net lease investments and 1031 exchange advisory.

Prior to Northmarq, Jim was a director at B+E Net Lease, an investment brokerage firm specializing in net lease real estate and 1031 exchanges. Jim was B+E’s “Top Broker of the Year” in 2023 and 2022 and “Rookie Broker of the Year” in 2021. He founded B+E’s Charlotte office in 2020. Before joining B+E, he spent nearly 10 years in fixed-income sales and trading at leading investment banks Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and Scotiabank in New York City.

Jim holds real estate licenses in North Carolina and New York. He earned a B.A. in political science from North Carolina State University.
