Lamar Sarra

Lamar Sarra serves as senior vice president/senior director of loan production in Northmarq's Jacksonville regional office. Lamar specializes in originating commercial loans in the North Florida/South Georgia market area for such properties as multifamily, retail, office, warehouse and hospitality projects. 

Lamar has more than 45 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry. He began his career as a chief appraiser at Stockton, Whatley, David & Company from 1968-1983 before it was acquired by BancBoston. Lamar was then the chief appraiser at BancBoston for 10 years before it was acquired by Leg Mason Real Estate Services (LMRES) in 1993. Lamar joined Northmarq in September 2003 when they obtained the mortgage banking division of LMRES. 

Lamar holds a B.S. degree from the University of Georgia and is a licensed real estate salesperson and mortgage broker in the state of Florida.
