Mark Hellwig
Mark Hellwig is a vice president in Northmarq’s Chicago office and specializes in the disposition and acquisition of single tenant and net lease properties throughout the United States. His team focuses on office/industrial net lease properties, with a strong presence in the General Services Administration asset arena. Over the last 28 years as an investment property broker, Mark has completed more than 250 transactions valued in excess of $2.5 billion and has gained valuable experience in a wide range of assets.
Mark’s brokerage experience includes serving as a director at Stan Johnson Company (which was acquired by Northmarq). Additionally, Mark previously served as a senior director with Marcus & Millichap for five years, a senior vice president with CBRE’s Investment Properties Group for seven years and a senior associate in the Financial Services Group at Cushman & Wakefield for five years. In addition to his extensive experience in investment sales, Mark has also worked in commercial real estate as an attorney, a mortgage broker, a property manager and a real estate professional on Wall Street.
Mark has been active in professional organizations, as a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks and the Urban Land Institute. He holds a bachelor's degree and MBA in business administration and finance from the University of Missouri as well as a J.D. from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law.
