Scott Briggs
Scott Briggs is a senior vice president in Northmarq’s Tulsa, Oklahoma office and a founding member of the firm’s Healthcare Specialty Group. Scott leads an expert team of six highly qualified professionals specializing in the disposition, acquisition and capitalization of all types of net lease properties nationwide.
Consistently a top producer, his track record leads the firm in many areas including government-leased ($611 million), healthcare ($1.01 billion), office ($764 million), retail ($1.18 billion) and industrial ($1.12 billion). In over a decade and a half of brokerage, Scott has been involved with more than $3.52 billion worth of investment sales including 495+ transactions spanning 44 states — including sale-leaseback ($462 million), large portfolios (27 transactions) and other structured transactions ($599 million).
Scott’s notable transactions include the $39.5 million UnitedHealth Group-leased multi-specialty practice clinic in Covina, California, the $47.1 million federal government-leased inspection station in South San Francisco, California, the $20.5 million sale-leaseback of a private credit aluminum billet casting facility in Bluffton, Indiana, the $29.5 million Veterans Affairs-leased primary care clinic in Tampa, Florida, the $47.0 million federal government-leased inspection station in El Segundo, California, the $93.5 million sale-leaseback of a Fortune 200 HQ2 in Federal Way, Washington and the $31.3 million sale of a GSA-leased office facility in El Segundo, California.
Scott and his team are actively representing corporate users, institutional, private equity and high-net-worth investors on a diverse mix of property types including industrial, office, retail and medical. Before Northmarq, Scott was senior director and partner in Stan Johnson Company’s Tulsa headquarters. Scott holds a B.S.B.A. in finance and accounting from Oklahoma State University and received his J.D. from the University of Tulsa, College of Law. In addition to being a licensed attorney, Scott holds Real Estate Broker licenses in Oklahoma and Iowa.
