Ryan D Whitaker

Ryan Whitaker is senior vice president and managing director of Northmarq's Jacksonville Office. His primary role is to oversee the sourcing of debt and equity capital for commercial real estate projects. Ryan has in excess of 12 years mortgage banking experience and joined Northmarq's Jacksonville Regional Office in 2011. Since joining the company, Ryan has twice been appointed to Northmarq’s Producer’s Council (top 10 originators amongst non-managing producers nationwide). 

Ryan earned his MBA from the University of North Florida and a Bachelor of Science in business finance from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he also competed as a Division I collegiate wrestler. Ryan is also a licensed real estate broker in the state of Florida. 

Ryan is active in his community and has served on the local board of directors in Northeast Florida for the following organizations: National Association of Office and Industrial Properties (NAIOP), Urban Land Institute (ULI) and Jacksonville Community Council Inc. (JCCI) Forward. Ryan started the Developing Leaders program for the Northeast Florida Chapter of NAIOP and was honored as its Emerging Professional of the Year in 2008. He was also honored by the Jacksonville Business Journal as one of the Top 40 under 40 executives in 2007.
