Riley Sharman

Riley Sharman is a vice president at Northmarq based in the Houston, Texas office. Prior to joining Northmarq, Riley served as a director at Stan Johnson Company (SJC). Before SJC, Riley worked for Marcus & Millichap where he focused exclusively on multi-tenant shopping centers and single-tenant triple net lease assets. As associate of Investments and associatem director within the National Retail Group, he built a reputation for his vast submarket knowledge and comprehensive underwriting skills. 

Prior to Marcus & Millichap, Riley worked at Colliers International in retail investment sales as well as Pristine Bay Hotel Development Group in investment consulting with a focus in direct marketing and sales to private clients. Riley has been involved in the industry since 2005 and specializes in multi-tenant shopping centers, medical office and single-tenant triple net lease assets throughout Texas and the U.S. His skill sets include expert knowledge of construction costs, land development (foreign and domestic), site infrastructure analysis, syndication and financial modeling allow him to provide unique perspective on the sale of various commercial retail assets. Sharman’s clients consist of developers, syndication funds and private capital partnerships.

Riley has a B.A. in communication from St. Edward’s University. He was awarded as a  top-producing broker in Texas in 2021 and received the Sales Excellence Award. Riley is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and St. Edward's University Houston Chapter Alumni Association.
