Fannie Mae recognizes its Delegated Underwriter Servicing (DUS) partners annually for excellence in operations, underwriting, asset management or production. For 2018, NorthMarq was recognized for Excellence in Operations and Excellence in Loss Mitigation.

The official awards will be presented at Fannie Mae’s annual DUS Meeting held this year in Portland, Oregon, beginning May 22. Jay Donaldson, president-NorthMarq’s Fannie Mae/FHA platforms, will attend the event to accept the award. NorthMarq will have a strong presence at the DUS Meeting with Ed Padilla, Jeff Weidell, and William Ross joining the senior management team of NorthMarq’s DUS platform and several producers.

“We are constantly seeking to improve; so, it is rewarding when Fannie Mae sees that work reflected in our performance. I attribute both areas of recognition to the nearly 100 employees in our DUS offices in Omaha, Washington D.C., Dallas, and Denver,” Donaldson said. “We improved our operations through continued focus on enhanced transparency and client experience, and as a result, we continue building an extraordinary portfolio that experienced no losses in 2018. My thanks go out to our incredible team.”

The company’s Fannie Mae production increased by more than 25 percent in 2018, and 2019 looks to be another strong year.
