Ben Vroman

Ben Vroman is a vice president based in Northmarq's Salt Lake City office, where he focuses on sourcing and structuring commercial real estate loans. 

Ben joined the Salt Lake City team as an analyst in 2017, shortly after Northmarq acquired Western Realty Capital. Ben has been responsible in originating, underwriting and closing nearly $1 billion in loans in his short time with Northmarq. Ben previously served on the analyst council at Northmarq, where he was responsible for mentoring new analysts and providing guidance on how Northmarq could better serve the younger employees at the firm.

Ben graduated from the University of Utah in 2009 with a B.S. in economics. During his time at the University of Utah, Ben was also awarded a full athletic football scholarship from 2005-2009 and took part in Utah’s 13-0 season, winning the Sugar Bowl in his Junior season.

Prior to his time at Northmarq, Ben worked at Goldman Sachs in Salt Lake City. Serving in a variety of roles, Ben started as an IBD support team member, tax reporting associate, before moving to a compliance testing function where he investigated the regulatory compliance across the firm's varying business lines.  

Ben is a member of the Mortgage Banking Association and Urban Land Institute. In his free time, he enjoys spending time golfing, exploring different culinary cuisine, cooking, traveling and creating memories with his wife Abby and two children.
