Eric Fixler

Eric Fixler serves as a managing director of Northmarq’s Debt + Equity team based in West Plam Beach, Florida, and provides strategic vision and leadership to Northmarq’s seasoned team of commercial finance and investment sales professionals.

Eric brings 20+ years of commercial finance experience to the loan origination team with his expertise in working with all clients including individual investors, family office and large institutions. His long-standing relationships with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, life insurance companies, investment banks, debt funds and other lending institutions provides clients a wide variety of options in each transaction. He has been instrumental in helping clients source real estate and joint venture equity from family offices and institutional capital sources to assist clients as they grow their real estate portfolios. Eric’s consultative approach evaluates all aspects of the real estate transaction to achieve the client’s real estate objective by coordinating equity, debt, and other structured financing options.

Prior to joining Northmarq, Eric spent nearly two years as managing director of real estate capital markets with Regions Bank. He has held senior roles at CBRE, Marcus & Millichap, Walker & Dunlop and spent 16 years as principal of EF Capital.

Eric is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC) and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). He attended Yeshiva University and received a bachelor’s degree in economics.
