Jason Szuminski
Jason Szuminski is a vice president in Northmarq's San Francisco office, where he specializes in the placement of debt and equity across all asset classes of commercial real estate. With a robust network that encompasses Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, life insurance companies, banks, debt funds and a diverse range of institutional and private capital sources, Jason is committed to delivering tailored financial solutions to meet his clients' unique needs.
Prior to joining Northmarq, Jason spent five years at JP Morgan Chase, originating multifamily loans across the western United States. His background includes valuable experience in land development and time at Spear Street Capital, a real estate private equity fund concentrating on value-add office properties nationwide. He takes pride in building and maintaining strong relationships with both lenders and borrowers.
Before his career in real estate, Jason served as an officer in the United States Air Force and enjoyed a five-season stint as a professional baseball player, reaching the Major Leagues with the San Diego Padres. He holds a degree in aerospace engineering from MIT and an MBA from Stanford.
Jason is an active member of the Bay Area Mortgage Association, NAIOP and ICSC, contributing his expertise and insights to advance the industry.
