About Milo

Milo Spector is a senior vice president at Northmarq and one of the founding brokers of Stan Johnson Company’s Walnut Creek office in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has been involved in the industry since 2014 and has been 100% focused on net leased assets throughout his career.

Milo’s team has completed over $600 million in sales volume across multiple property types within the net-lease space, however, they have now a dedicated focus on education properties. They have completed transactions across over 100 education properties nationally, with multiple brands. This focused approach translates to their clients receiving superior service and knowledge that a generalist-type broker may lack. His team actively tracks industry data, provides reports, has been featured on podcasts, written articles and thought leadership pieces, and has strong relationships within the space with all the key players.

Milo's clients consist of corporate and mom and pop operators, franchisees, institutional groups (including REITS & private equity), developers, private offices, equity providers and high/ultra-high-net-worth private investors. Services provided include corporate portfolio advisory, portfolio sales, standard sale-leaseback, M&A sale-leaseback, business & real estate dispositions, developer partnerships, equity partnerships, loan broker relationships (construction and perm), fund building and standard acquisition/disposition advisory.

One of Milo’s most notable transactions was assisting the co-founder of Gateway Academy schools (now Cadence Education) with a disposition of a 21-unit portfolio encumbered by CMBS debt. Milo has also completed multiple sale-leasebacks with some of the top 50 education operators and has sold properties/portfolios for publicly traded REITs, private offices and institutional groups.

Milo’s recognitions and awards include GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum's 50 under 40, Connect CRE Next Generation, CoStar Power Broker, Crexi Platinum Broker and has consistently been recognized as a top producer within Northmarq. He holds a B.S. in business administration from San Francisco State University.
