Northmarq arranges sale, acquisition financing for Taylor Farms apartments in Charlotte, NC

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Feb. 18, 2025) — Northmarq’s Carolinas Multifamily Investment Sales team led by John Currin, Andrea Howard, Jeff Glenn, Allan Lynch, Caylor Mark and Austin Jackson successfully completed the sale of Taylor Farms, a 276-unit luxury multifamily housing community located at 2311 Odell School Rd in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Northmarq represented the seller, Mallard Creek Charlotte NC, LLC. Thompson Thrift, a full-service nationally recognized real estate company, was the developer. The buyer was Atlanta- based Mesa Capital Partners.
“Taylor Farms was one of Charlotte’s most competitive 2024 marketing campaigns due to Thompson Thrift’s strong national reputation as a high-quality developer and the outperformance of Northeast Charlotte as an economic growth center,” said Currin.
Northmarq’s Carolinas Debt + Equity team Faron Thompson, Grant Harris and Cabell Thomas collaborated on the deal, arranging acquisition financing for Mesa Capital Partners through its in-house Fannie Mae DUS platform. The permanent fixed loan was structured on a five-year term.
