About Andrew
Andy is a senior vice president with Northmarq. In this role, he is responsible for the direct origination of multifamily and commercial debt on behalf of Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, FHA, the life company portfolio as well as other capital sources, including banks, debt funds, and CMBS. In addition to permanent financing, he has experience with construction and bridge/structured transactions. He splits his time between Northmarq’s Silicon Valley and San Francisco offices. Andy has more than 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and has completed more than $4 billion in debt transactions and select equity placements.
Andy received a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) from the University of Southern California. Prior to graduate school, Andy worked for an affordable housing developer in the Bay Area. He has served in multiple leadership roles for the Urban Land Institute and currently co-chairs the NEXT steering committee. He resides on the Peninsula with his wife and two children.
