Bob Bernard

Bob is a senior vice president at Northmarq’s Jericho, New York office. He is responsible for arranging debt and equity commercial real estate financing through Northmarq’s varied lending sources including insurance companies, agency lenders, institutional capital providers, credit unions and banks. Bob has worked at several local and national banks during his 35+ year career and he has developed close personal relationships with many local CRE owners who are likely to become clients of Northmarq.

Prior to joining Northmarq, Bob managed CRE lending teams at ConnectOne Bank for 2 years, Sterling Bank for 4 years (now Webster Bank), North Fork Bank and its acquirer Capital One Bank for 17 years and CFS Bank (now known as Flagstar & previously NYCB) for 7 years.

Bob is on the board of directors of United Cerebral Palsy of Long Island. He is a former board member of the Real Estate Institute at Stony Brook University and is involved in several real estate trade organizations including Long Island Builder’s Institute, Association for a Better Long Island, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Bob holds an MBA degree in Finance and BS degree in Marketing from St. John’s University in Jamaica, New York. Bob is a member of Bellport Country Club and is a certified yoga instructor.
