About Cabell

Cabell Thomas is responsible for executing, structuring and originating loans across all asset classes. Cabell specializes in multifamily financing predominantly arranged through Northmarq’s Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA-HUD programs in addition to other capital sources such as insurance companies, banks, debt funds and CMBS lenders. Cabell also serves as a point of contact for the servicing of agency loans secured by multifamily, student, affordable and manufactured housing. Over the course of his career, Cabell has been involved in more than $4 billion in debt and equity originations for acquisitions, refinances and developments.

Cabell previously worked for Newmark where he was involved in the placement of debt & equity transactions for a variety of property types including multifamily, self-storage, industrial, office, retail and hospitality. His primary responsibilities included underwriting, executing and closing of loans for properties mostly located in the Carolinas. Prior to Newmark, Cabell was an Associate at CBRE where he focused in commercial investment sales and leasing in Virginia.

Cabell is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute.
