Ron Peterson

Ron Peterson is a managing director at Northmarq's Seattle-based regional office. He is responsible for assisting in the management and oversight of the office, as well as originating debt and equity for owners of commercial and multifamily real estate.

Ron joined Northmarq in 2009 after 19 years of service at Capmark Finance (formerly GMAC Commercial Mortgage), and went on that year to become one of Northmarq’s “President’s Award Winners.” In 2010, he earned “Newcomer of the Year” and finished as the company’s 5th leading producer. Ron has been one of Northmarq’s top 10 producers in three of his 12 years at the company and has led the Seattle office in loan production closing transactions in excess of $3 billion. He has worked closely with many commercial lenders including multiple life insurance companies, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, banks, debt funds and CMBS lenders. Ron takes great pride in his customer service, integrity and consistent performance.

Ron was one of two producers appointed to the Northmarq Executive Committee in 2016. He also served a three year assignment on the Production Committee at Northmarq and was previously on the Income Property Steering Committee for the Seattle Mortgage Banking Association.

Ron holds an MBA from Seattle University and a B.A. in business administration from the University of Washington. He is also a member of the University of Washington Tyee Club.
