James Currell

James Currell is a senior vice president of Debt + Equity based in Northmarq’s Dallas office. He sources and negotiates debt and equity on behalf of his clients for acquisitions and developments across industrial, commercial and multifamily properties nationwide. By providing a range of debt and equity solutions and forging longstanding relationships between his clients, lenders and equity partners, James has originated over $1.2 billion of debt and equity financing since 2020.

Prior to joining Northmarq, James was a commercial relationship manager at M&T Bank responsible for sourcing, underwriting and originating loans for companies with an EBITDA over $10 million. His practical business experience has given James valuable insight and perspective into his clients’ objectives and needs on both immediate capital solutions and long-term growth strategies.

James holds a dual B.S. in finance and accounting from the University of Delaware.
