Sean Swift
Sean Swift is a senior vice president of Debt + Equity based in Northmarq’s Westlake Village office in California. He is responsible for sourcing debt and equity across various asset classes. His clients include both institutional and middle-market firms throughout the U.S. Sean possesses extensive experience working as a principal and in the institutional equity space to provide refined perspectives to his clients.
Prior to joining Northmarq, Sean served as a principal for three years at a private multifamily investment company focused on the acquisition of value-add and core-plus assets in the Southeast and Midwest. In this role, he also worked with several family office clients on developing investment strategies.
Additionally, Sean was the director of Global Strategy at CBRE where he worked with executive leadership to define the company’s strategy to accelerate growth and competitive advantage. Prior to CBRE, Sean held positions at Boston Consulting Group, MMC Real Estate and Bank of America | Merrill Lynch, where he started his career.
Sean has served as vice president of the Berkeley Real Estate Alumni Association (BREAA) Board of Directors and remains an active member following the end of his board term. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at CSU Channel Islands where he graduated with honors. Sean later received his MBA and Interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate in real estate from the Haas School of Business at University of California Berkeley. While a student at Haas, Sean was president of the Berkeley Real Estate Club, a recipient of the Jon Q. Reynolds Real Estate Entrepreneur Fellowship and Trione Entrepreneur Fellowship.
