Kevin Leamy

Kevin Leamy is a senior vice president and managing director within Northmarq’s Dallas office with the primary responsibility of originating debt and placing equity investments. Kevin focuses on a wide array of clients but spends the majority of his time working on multifamily transactions across the country. In addition to specializing in multifamily transactions Kevin brings a keen understanding of the numbers to each and every transaction given his start as a Fannie Mae underwriter early on in his career. 

Prior to joining the production/brokerage arm of Northmarq Kevin began his career as a Fannie Mae underwriter under the Northmarq umbrella. Kevin learned the basics of the numbers, underwriting, due diligence processes, and was able to tour countless multifamily assets further strengthening his understanding of the sector. After spending approximately 18 months as an underwriter, Kevin transitioned to the production team at Northmarq’s Dallas office. Kevin was brought over as a senior investment analyst and from there quickly rose the ranks to where he now sits as senior vice president of debt and equity. In Kevin’s first year as an associate producer he set a Northmarq record for total number of loans originated and equity raised. 

During the beginning of Kevin’s career he became a member of TREC and was a regular attendee to their functions and charity work. Outside of work Kevin donates to various animal rescue associations and primarily a group that rescues dogs from the crowded shelters of Dallas and transports them to be rescued in Brooklyn, New York. 

Kevin graduated with dual degrees in both finance and economics in 3.5 years from Oklahoma State University. During his time there he served as president of the finance club and as treasurer of his fraternity.
