Paul C Brighton

Paul Brighton began his professional real estate career in 1986 and joined Northmarq in 1993. As a mortgage loan officer, he has arranged and closed several billion dollars in debt and equity transactions. His extensive experience in sourcing capital for all types of income producing property has created considerable value for both local and national investors. 

Paul’s expertise is focused on providing senior debt, mezzanine debt, preferred equity and joint venture equity for both existing and proposed projects. Capital sources are predominantly institutional and include life insurance companies, REIT’s, pension funds, CMBS, FNMA, Freddie Mac and FHA along with local, regional and national banks.

Paul received his Bachelor of Arts in economics and a BBA in finance from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a licensed Texas real estate broker.
