Alex Schmidt-Fellner

Alex Schmidt-Fellner is an associate producer with Northmarq’s National Development Services (NDS) team based in Austin, Texas. His primary focus will be identifying affordable housing and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) qualified land tracts and engaging interested owners and developers. 

Before graduating from Auburn University in fall of 2020, Alex worked as an assistant project manager for Capstone, on a mid-rise apartment development in Knoxville, Tennessee. In 2021, he moved to Atlanta and worked as a property manager on a large light industrial/FLEX facility. These roles early in his career serve him as a source of valuable knowledge for his continued career in real estate. In 2022, Alex moved to Austin and began work at Northmarq as an Investment Sales and NDS analyst. During his early career at Northmarq, his duties included underwriting investment sales and development opportunities, as well as serving on the Northmarq Analyst Council.
