Shravan Vijalapuram

Shravan Vijalapuram is a senior associate with Northmarq’s National Development Services (NDS) group, an integrated team of specialized land brokers and capital originators whose unique structure gives the ability to add value and create solutions during all phases of the development process and throughout the capital stack. Shravan leverages his background in both development and multifamily investment analysis to serve Northmarq’s clients and advance their goals.

Prior to Northmarq, Shravan served as a development manager at Embree Development Group, Inc., a nationwide build-to-suit developer, where he worked with several nationwide clients to expand their store counts. As a development manager, Shravan managed the development process from beginning to end, including negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements and other legal items. Additionally, he played an integral role in the budgeting and sale analysis, design and entitlements phases of development.

Shravan has been involved in roughly $100 million of development projects during his four and a half years at Embree. Prior to Embree, he worked as an analyst at a multifamily-focused brokerage firm in Dallas.

Shravan graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with both a B.S. in finance (Cum Laude) and a M.S. in finance with a concentration in commercial real estate. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
