Dave Dewey
Dave Dewey is director of Asset Management with Northmarq Fund Management. Dave has led the portfolio management/asset management team for the past 19 years. Dave has over 25 years of experience in portfolio management, asset management, acquisitions, development, leasing, financing, loan workouts and restructurings, and dispositions in various property types. Dave serves as a member of Northmarq Fund Management’s Investment Committee.
Dave served as a principal and the director of Asset Management at Morrison Street Capital, which merged with Northmarq Fund Management in 2024. During his tenure at Morrison Street Capital, Dave participated as a member of the Investment Committee and oversaw all aspects of a diverse portfolio of equity, joint venture equity, preferred equity, structured equity and subordinate debt investments totaling in excess of $5.2 billion in gross value.
Before joining Morrison Street Capital, Dave was a principal at Pension Consulting Alliance (PCA), where he helped PCA clients invest and manage their real estate portfolios by providing real estate consulting services including strategic planning, portfolio reviews, manager searches, investment advisor and partnership selection, due diligence and topical real estate research as well as institutional client relations. During his tenure at PCA, Dave was involved in and led due diligence efforts on more than $4.8 billion of real estate investments on behalf of many of PCA clients such as CalSTRS, CalPERS, OPERF and other institutional investors. This experience gives Dave a unique perspective and an understanding of the needs of institutional real estate investors.
Dave earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management degree majoring in finance from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with an emphasis in finance from the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business. Dave is an Eagle Scout and serves the community as a member of the Parks and Recreation Commission for the City of Camas.
