Dave Tindall
Dave Tindall is currently director of Investments for Northmarq Fund Management and is a member of the Northmarq Fund Management Investment Committee. Dave has expertise in structuring private debt and equity investments in commercial and multifamily real estate.
Since 2005, Dave served as director of Investments at Morrison Street Capital, which merged with Northmarq Fund Management in 2024. He has been principally involved in Morrison Street Funds II through VII, MSDO I & II and MSIF, investing more than $750 million of fund equity across more than two hundred unique real estate investments with total market value in excess of $5 billion.
As leader of the investment team, Dave oversees underwriting, diligence and legal processes required to invest fund capital. His primary role is to source, underwrite, structure and close investments for the funds, with specific responsibility for maintaining the transaction pipeline by managing relationships with lenders, bankers, capital market intermediaries, operating partners and borrowers.
Previously, he worked for more than eight years with Clarion Partners where he was responsible for investing client capital in multiple markets in the western United States. While at Clarion Partners, Dave participated in investing more than $1.7 billion of equity in office, industrial, retail and multifamily assets primarily for U.S. pension fund clients. Prior to joining the acquisitions team at Clarion, he served as an asset manager of more than 2.3 million square feet of industrial projects in Southern California as well as multiple office buildings in Portland, Sacramento and Phoenix.
Dave received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgetown University. He previously served as co-chair of the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Young Leader’s Group and as a member of the executive committee of ULI’s Seattle District Council. He is an avid golfer and is a past president of Columbia Edgewater Golf Club in Portland. He and his wife have two children.
