Murray McQueen

Murray McQueen is a managing director of Northmarq Fund Management. His responsibilities include managing many aspects of the funds’ overall growth and operations. 

Prior to joining Northmarq in 2024, Murray was president of Tribune Real Estate Holdings (TREH), LLC, a subsidiary of Tribune Media (NYSE: TRCO). As the ownership entity for Tribune Media’s original eight million square feet of owned real estate, Murray assisted in maximizing the long-term value and monetization potential of these assets. This portfolio included large urban-infill redevelopment sites in locations such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Costa Mesa and Florida where TREH completed the process of implementing various levels of entitlement, adaptive reuse, joint-venture structuring and overall value creation and in many cases, monetizing the enhanced holdings. 

Before TREH, Mr. Murray held roles at Channel West Group, Cerberus Capital Management, DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners and Citibank Real Estate. 

Murray earned his bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University and MBA degree from the University of California Los Angeles’ Anderson School of Management.
