Diane Sogal

Diane Sogal is vice president at Northmarq, specializing in fostering strategic relationships with developers and institutional clients. She focuses on site selection, structured capital solutions and the recapitalization or disposition of assets. Diane has extensive expertise in conventional multifamily, build-to-rent (BTR) and master-planned developments, with a particular focus on sourcing covered land for redevelopment opportunities. As part of Northmarq’s National Development Services team, she provides comprehensive advisory, transactional, debt structuring and equity sourcing services tailored to the needs of multifamily owners and developers.

Since joining Northmarq in 2020, Diane has played a critical role in expanding the firm’s Investment Sales and land sourcing platforms across Texas and nationally. Leveraging her deep understanding of the Austin market and proven ability to execute complex transactions, she has been instrumental in driving value for her clients.

With over 18 years of experience in real estate, academia and marketing, Diane has a diverse professional background. Prior to Northmarq, she co-owned a successful business and was a top producer in a real estate practice, specializing in luxury residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties. Her experience includes advising both private and institutional clients on high-value transactions.

Diane holds a Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University. She is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Texas and maintains active memberships with the Austin Board of Realtors (ABOR) and holds a Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) designation.
